A special prize to celebrate Isopan Est’s 10th anniversary
Romania – As every year, at the beginning of December, Confindustria Romania hosted an event dedicated to leading Italian companies in the country. As an opportunity to reward the Italian businesses operating in Romania, Galla Awards aims to acknowledge the extraordinary results and merits achieved by the companies that have decided to enter the Romanian market, such as Isopan Spa, a subsidiary of the Verona-based Manni Group, which received the “Performance” prize from Confindustria Romania for the excellent performance achieved to date. This is the reason for the prize as explained during the course of the evening by Rocco Ferri, General Manager of Confindustria Romania:
“Performance achievement is the goal of most companies, regardless of their size. Investing in one’s own business and stimulating and encouraging the company management is the key to achieving new development goals. If this all becomes an integral part of a more comprehensive project developed by the parent company, focusing on sustainability as the main ingredient for success, the result will also take on a social value.”
The prize was collected by Luigi Guerrini, Sole Director Isopan Est, and Toni Pera, General Manager of Isopan Est, representatives of the leading insulating panel manufacturer, who in the acceptance speech stressed that: “This recognition has come at an important time for Isopan and is proof of the excellent work carried out by an exceptional team. Indeed, if well motivated, human resources play a key role in the company.”
Isopan received the prize on the eve of its 10th year of activity in Bucharest, Romania, the second foreign headquarters opened by the Group, following Isopan Ibérica in Tarragona. The Group now comprises six companies with more than 450 employees worldwide. The last offices were opened in 2015: Isopan Rus in Volgograd, Russia, and the Mexican IsoCindu, a joint venture with the Venezuelan company Cindu.
Next year, to show the Group’s trust in the market and its desire for growth, the company will invest in a new production line in Romania, thus allowing Isopan Est to maintain high performance standards while meeting the demands of many customers who, for years, have been relying on Isopan’s high-quality products, and those of the Romanian market, which is becoming increasingly sensitive towards sustainability issues.
Isopan has constantly promoted sustainable construction by offering solutions to redevelop buildings, reduce consumption and the waste of energy and resources. The ongoing research conducted by Isopan's R&D departments allows it to be constantly up-to-date with the latest market trends and reference standards, combining aesthetics and functionality.
