The Arkwall ventilated wall system by Isopan complements the new Russian History Museum in Volgograd
It hosts an exhibition on the last 100 years of the country's history, supported by the latest multimedia technology. The distinctive feature of this building is its special external cladding, made of insulating panels that are engraved and perforated with extreme accuracy, forming the characteristic floral patterns inspired by Russian tradition.
The fascinating architectural solution adopted for the Museum’s façade was achieved thanks to Arkwall by Isopan: this innovative system combines the insulation performance of Isopan’s sandwich panels with the advantages offered by a ventilated façade system.
With the installation of Arkwall, the Museum now has a high level of thermal and acoustic insulation and, more importantly, the risk of cracks in the cladding is reduced to zero. Moreover, this solution has enabled the weight of the structure of the museum building to be reduced and the façades are now easier to clean and maintain.
